Right to compensation in case of death or personal injury
In the event that a passenger is killed or injured in a railway accident, the railway company shall, within 15 days of identification, make the necessary advance payments to meet immediate financial needs in proportion to the damage suffered.
- The advance payment shall not be less than EUR 21,000 per passenger in case of death.
- The passenger is not entitled to reimbursement of the ticket price.
